Toggle SEO is a growing Charleston digital marketing company that helps contractors and home service businesses generate more leads and grow. We've built our success through referrals, relationships, and long-term partnerships, and we're looking for an outgoing business development professional to help us expand those relationships across the Charleston business community. This is not a cold-calling job. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people, building real relationships, attending business and community events, and creating introductions between qualified business owners and our team. If you'd rather grab coffee with a business owner than make a hundred cold calls, you'll feel right at home here. You won't be expected to close complicated marketing contracts on your own. Your job is to open doors, build rapport, qualify the opportunity, and introduce our owner for the deeper strategy conversation. Walk into a room where you know no one, walk out with several genuine new relationships. That's the role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Represent Toggle SEO at networking events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, BNI groups, and community events across Charleston
• Build genuine relationships with business owners, contractors, executives, and local professionals
• Identify businesses that could benefit from Toggle SEO's services
• Develop referral partnerships with professionals who regularly work with local business owners
• Create qualified introductions and schedule strategy calls with company ownership
• Follow up consistently and keep organized records of your contacts and conversations
• Look for new ways to grow Toggle SEO's presence throughout the Charleston business community

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with previous experience in business development, outside sales, or another B2B role that required building relationships with business owners and decision-makers. You should be naturally comfortable meeting new people, starting conversations, and building rapport without a script.

• Previous B2B sales or business development experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Confidence speaking with business owners, executives, and decision-makers
• Excellent follow-up and organizational habits
• A relationship-first approach, not a high-pressure sales style
• Reliable transportation and the ability to attend events across the Charleston area

Existing relationships within the Charleston business community are strongly preferred. Backgrounds in commercial insurance, banking, payroll or HR services, staffing, construction, restoration, or professional services are especially valuable. Previous digital marketing experience is helpful but not required. We'd rather hire an exceptional relationship-builder and teach them our industry.

What We Offer

• $50,000 - $60,000 base salary
